This research shows the results of cyclic bending tests conducted on PC poles used for over 50 years in a salt-damaged region, and analysis of residual strength using a three-dimensional finite element model incorporating damage from chemical deterioration. Results from the cyclic loading tests, It was confirmed that mechanical performance does not deteriorate when there is no visible damage. It suggests that revising the replacement evaluation criteria could enable more efficient replacement. As for the analysis results, It was implied that, depending on the extent of steel corrosion, the design strength may not be satisfied.
