Abstract
By means of measurement of sedimentary sepecific volume in mother Liquid of basic magnesium carbonate prepared under different conditions, the relation between the conditions of its formation from normal salt and the sedimentary specific volume of the products was reriewed. The specific volume is influenced chiefly by the concentration of HCO3' in mother liquid and it is thought that the coagulation of the products will be effctted by the concentration of HCO'3'. The influencre of crystal size to specific volume is recognized above it.
