Suspended particulates data sampled by high volume air samplers at the six sites in Osaka City were statistically analysed.
The concentations of suspended particulate matter, sulfates and benzene soluble organic matter collected during 1966 to 1969 were log.normally distributed.
In industrial area, mean concentration of suspended particulates and sulfates were respectively 404 μg/m3 and 35.4 μg/m3.
Correlation between suspended particulate matter and sulfates, nitrates, benzene soluble organic matter concentrations were also analysed.
