Abstract
The present work is a further proof that yakriton, the detoxicating hormone of the liver, can detoxicate phenol. In this paper it has been shown that the method used by Sato and me3) was not very appropriate for the purpose of investigating whether yakriton would detoxicate phenol or not. Further, it has been shown that the chemical investigation-the examination of conjugated phenol in the blood-is highly probably no reliable method for determining the capability of detoxicating phenol, at least in the rabbit.
