Abstract
A clinical experiment was performed on three syphilitic mothers with Arakawa-negative or “bad” milk. During only a short time of about 20 days of the treatment, their milk became better and better (or more and more intense in the reaction), until even a normal reaction (the reaction of “good” milk) was attained in one case of the longest observation. Their milk did not only improve in the reac-tion, but also showed an improvement in regard to the chlorine content, because this became smaller during the treatment, until normal or almost normal chlorine figures were attained. It is very probable that syphilitic mothers witn negative Arakawa's reaction cannot utilize to any greater extent that amount of vitamin-B which they have in stock within their body.
