Abstract

Literature shows that Arakawa's reaction is frequently negative during the menstrual period. And it was proved by Sato and I sono23) (the 110th Report of the Peroxidase Reaction) that the cause for the negativity is the occurrence of methyl glyoxal like substance* in milk in the menstrual period. In such milk as becomes negative to Araka-wa's reaction during the menstrual or premenstrual period (periodic with one month's cycle), lactose content will decrease; chlorin may increase.
