After letting dogs run with a certain speed (200-300 meters a minute), during a certain length of time (15 minutes) the blood lactic acid and sugar con-tent was systematically determined.
The removal of the suprarenal medulla, the section of splanchnic nerves or the combination of both, conducted on both sides, has no influence upon the work capacity of dogs and the behaviour of the chemical constituents under investigation.
