Abstract
Preparations, made from the following six crude drugs belonging to the digitalis group so as to contain as much active but as little useless substances as possible, were compared with each other with regard to the intensity of their various actions, using the same heart active dose or concentration.
The following table shows the relative intensity of their actions by taking the intcnsity of the actions of digitalispreparation as 100.
It remains for the clinican to determine which of these will be preferable in a given condition of cardiac diseases.
