WHITTAKER-SHINTANI FUNCTIONS FOR ORTHOGONAL GROUPS

抄録

As generalizations of zonal spherical functions and Whittaker functions, certain special functions on $p$-adic orthogonal groups closely related to automorphic forms are introduced. Their multiplicity one property and explicit formula are established.
