TRANSVERSALLY SYMMETRIC RIEMANNIAN FOLIATIONS

We discuss Riemannian foliations which are transversally modeled on a Riemannian symmetric space. In particular weinvestigate how the transversal symmetry influences other geometric properties of the foliation and the geometry of the ambient space.
