Career Change from Medicinal Chemistry to Safety Department - From Creating to Evaluating -

Abstract

I graduated from a graduate school of chemistry and joined Takeda Pharmaceutical Company, where I worked as a medicinal chemist for 10 years. After that, I made a career change to the safety department and currently lead the Chemical Toxicology team to support the global portfolio. I, who have a background in chemistry, will introduce their career development, including the reasons for transferring to the safety department, differences in thinking between the synthesis and evaluation sides, two overseas assignments during my career, and collaborative research with academia, with a focus on my career formation.
