Mobility management as an integrated transportation policy: A continuous management that integrates soft and hard measures

Abstract

In this study, I logically discussed what mobility management is based on definition provided in JSCE (2005) and previous mobility management studies. Through this investigation, it was indicated that 1) mobility management include soft and hard measures, 2) it targets not only personal and household mobility but also organizational and regional mobility, and 3) it is permanent management policy. Then, I proposed a new definition of mobility management based on these discussion.
