Some Questions about Calculation of Daytime Population in Tokyo Special Ward (Center of Tokyo Metropolitan Area)

Abstract

The Tokyo Metropolitan Area has been developing for a long time since early last century. Despite of this, the population census in 2000 reported decrease of daytime population in the Tokyo Special Ward (center of Tokyo Metropolitan Area). Using data from population census in 2005, this article estimates the current trend of daytime population in the Tokyo Special Ward.
