FAA announced that FAA issued the certification of commercial package delivery to Wing Aviation in April 2019. Toward establishing UAS Delivery service environment in Japan, the authors reviewed documents such as Wing’s petition for exemptions of certain regulations, comments from various stakeholders to the petition and FAA decisions on the petition. The authors focus on the discussion of acceptable risk, beyond visual line of site operation and multiple UASs operations.
