抄録
This article introduces the general situation of the Robotics Society of Japan (RSJ) that
was founded on January 28, 1983 for purposes of promoting progress in academic fields and providing
specialists with a venue for announcing their research and exchanging technical information.
Moreover, this article shows the activities of the RSJ and the cooperation with other academic societies.
