In this study, a thematic apperception test (TAT) and a typical projective method were designed for application to the field of clothing and measurement of clothing awareness.
Different from Roscencranz's (1962) by the individual interview test, this clothing thematic apperception test was a group oriented questionnaire test.
From the results of the field study, the degree of clothing awareness was measured for each subject and some basis of the reliability and validity of the were also obtained.
