Videocameras use a monocrome CRT in their viewfinder to display the video image. It is difficult to make a small high-resolution color viewfinder CRT because the manufacuturing process is not fine enough. A small high-resolution color viewfinder display is consider here, employing a monocrome CRT and rotating polygonal mirror. The principle theory is explained and the system detailed.
