A new mathematical spatio-temporal model of the human vision system, which has been developed from our former human vision model for still images, has already been proposed. This spatio-temporal model can quantitatively simulate spatio-temporal visual responses (contrast sensitivity characteristics) to flickering or drifting sinusoidal waves. In this paper, it is shown that this model can calculate the drifting speed at the maximum contrast sensitivity and that this theoretical relations are in good agreement with the experimental ones.
