High-Resolution Image Acquisition Scheme Using Multiple Imagers with Different Pixel Apertures : Performance evaluation for images contaminated with shot noise

Abstract

Previously we have developed an image integration algorithm for the high-resolution image acquisition scheme using multiple imagers with different pixel apertures. In this paper, we deals with performance and behavior of the algorithm for images contaminated with shot noise. Simulation results show that the algorithm works well under the condition that the S/N ratio exceeds approximately 27dB.
