Comparison between Thin-film and Thick-film cathodes in Life Time of DC-type Gas-discharge Panel

Abstract

To find a cause of the life of DC-type gas-discharge panel, we investigated the difference in a thick-film and a thin-film cathodes composed of Ni and Cr. No difference in decrease of brightness was observed between two. We have concluded the metal component in thick-film can be mainly sputtered.
