Results of Indoor Transmission Experiment of OFDM Modulation Scheme

Abstract

An experimental OFDM modem has been developed to study digital transmission characteristics. Results of indoor experiment confirm that QPSK-OFDM system is superior to single-carrier QPSK system in the presence of ghost signal, and necessary linearity of amplifier used in the OFDM scheme is more than 20 dB in terms of third-order intermoduration product.
