Method of hologram generation by transform for 3-D displays

Abstract

We propose a new method to generate hologram for 3-D displays. Since the spatial frequency spectrum of a piece of the hologram has depth-added 2-D image of recorded object, we can generate the hologram by transform from the spectrum data which is easily obtained from 3-D object. Experimental results are also shown.
