Stereo Shotgun Microphone

Abstract

A new 'one-point' stereo microphone has been developed. This microphone has the following two features. -1.Combination of a second order pressure gradient microphone with a line microphone realized sharp directivity in wide frequency range toward front direction. -2.Two hyper-cardioid directivities which are used toward the left and right (+-90 degree) respectively, brought good stereophonic effect.
