Digital Signal Processing of Color Video Cameras for Broadcast

Abstract

A digital broadcasting camera with single signal processing LSI chip has been developed. This camera uses a 0.8um process C-MOS gate arrays, and a low power 10bit A/D converter. furthermore, the digital processor of this camera enables switchable selection of an aspect ratio between 16 : 9 and 4 : 3.
