Thailand is located in the subtropical zone and thus the atmospheric temperature is always high through a year. Problems on ionospheric disturbance may occur because Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is located near the geomagnetic equator. We measured the characteristics of low elevation propagation at the antenna elevation of 8°. Several new discoveries were made by the results of the observations performed in the period from July, 1992 to June, 1993.
