Abstract
This study aims at clarifying residents'evaluation on living environment and its management system at detached houses areas with common space. To this end, the study selects the planned detached houses areas which positively introduce longer portions of the common spaces. Such detached houses area are received higher evaluation against their favorable landscape. However, the residents consider to transfer the common space, for example, road and park. In future, therefore, it is necessary to determine use, size and management method of the common spaces in the course of planning of detached houses area.
