Abstract
1) Riboflavin content of red muscle, "tiai-flesh", of many kinds of fishes is 10 times higher than that of ordinary muscles. 2) Riboflavin content of red muscle of the pelagic fishes is higher than that of the muscle of the longshore fishes or the fresh water fishes. 3) Red muscle of the pelagic fishes contains high amount of FAD also.
