ON THE PREPARATION OF THIAMINE SALTS : (III) ON THE DOUBLE SALTS OF THIAMINE

Abstract

The double salts of thiamine such as B_1・Cl・HCl・ZnCl_2,B_1・Cl・HCl・CdCl_2,B_1・HSO_4・CdSO_4 and B_1・I・HI・CdI_2 were prepared. The presentation of these double salts made clear that thiamine molecule is possible to link up with some metal ions.
