Mice and rabbits were used to check the LD_<50> with O-benzoylthiamine and O-carbethoxythiamine, compared with thiamine propyldisulfide and other thiamine derivatives. O-benzoylthiamine and O-carbethoxythiamine showed stronger toxic effect than others.
