Abstract
The present investigation with the purpose to study the gas-liquid chromatographic determination on fatty acid esters of L-ascorbic acid (6-mono-Pro-AsA, 6-mono-But-AsA, 6-mono-Oct-AsA, 6-mono-Dec-AsA, 6-mono-Lau-AsA, 6-mono-Pal-AsA, 2-mono-Lau-AsA, 5,6-di-Pro-AsA and 2,6-di-Lau-AsA) was carried out. After the formation of the trimethylchlorosilane derivative in pyridine containing hexamethyl-disilazane and trimethylchlorosilane, each sample was subjected to gas chromatography with glass column (chromosorb-AW cotaining 1% silicone OV-17). Three kinds of n-paraffins (C_<24>, C_<28> and C_<32>) complied with the carbon number of fatty acid ester of L-ascorbic acid were used as the internalstandard (for example, C_<32>H_<66> to 6-mono-Lau-AsA), and 6-monoesters and 5,6-diester including short carbon chain fatty acid ester were determined in high accuracy.
