Abstract
The promotion of the growth of the tissues cultured with diluted glutamylcholine solutions, as found in the former experiment, may be surmised to be caused by decomposition products of glutamylcholine. With a new sample of N-carbobenzoxyglutamylcholine the similar experiments were made. It was found that the growth of the tissues was always inhibited by this compound in all concentrations, tested.
