Abstract
(1)It was found in our previous investigation with the whole blood that the recovery rate of added ascorbic acid was reduced when the oxidation took place after deproteinization. The reason of this phenomenon has now been confirmed to be due to adsorption of ascorbic acid. (2)Several conditions for simplifying the method were investigated. (3)The determination metheod of vitamin C in plasma was studied and the results obtained were compared with those found in the whole blood.
