After more than 30 years of operation, Elettra synchrotron light source is currently being replaced by the new 4th generation Elettra 2.0 light source. The beamlines which were designed for Elettra are either renewed or upgraded for the new light source. New photoelectron energy analyzers and spin detectors will be installed in 2 angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy (ARPES) beamlines. The number of spin- and angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy (SARPES) beamlines will increase from 1 to 3 to meet the recent strongly increased demands from user community. Here I will introduce the SARPES in Elettra and in future Elettra 2.0.
