This article discusses the model of social innovation creation trough Ba (place) and social acceptance. Based upon evaluation on the business innovation researches, knowledge creation process and resource mobilization process are essential key points to understand the making process of social innovation. Moreover, the important view point to investigate social innovation is the relationship between knowledge creation process and resource mobilization process. The author focus on both formation of Ba (place) as knowledge creation process and brewing social acceptance among multi-actors. Then, this paper analysis actual social innovations of three local cities (Iida City in Nagano Prefecture, Kakegawa City in Shizuoka Prefecture and Toyooka City in Hyogo Prefecture) from viewpoints of these two processes.
