Abstract
While advanced media for broadcasting, which can provide viewers with a great sensation of reality, have been studied; an ultrahigh definition video system with 4000 scanning lines and the three-dimensional audio system were developed. Three-dimensional audio system adopts 22.2 multichannel audio which consists of 24 loudspeakers, and this system excels in the localization of sound sources around the listeners and in the listener's envelopment. Due to the adaptation to extra wide screen and the possibility of sound localization above the listeners, this three-dimensional audio system can be widely applied to the research on the audio systems with an exceptional high sensation of reality.
