This continued paper deals with the same modeling for the mathematical structure of ocean-container-transportation network system as the authors had before. The modeling scheme of the network is constructed on the basis of the algorithmic graph theory for the purpose of applying easily its utility to each procedure of the ship basic design. The container transportation system by sea is analyzed as representative linear programming problem, that is, the minimum cost flow problem whose basic algorithm is the primal simplex method, by using the modeling scheme. The basic considerations for analyzing and classifying various patterns of container flow network are explained in detail, and the framework of the data base about the Japan/China and Japan/NIES & ASEAN service is discussed from many possible angles. A series of numerical calculations are preformed for networks modeled by referring to Japan/China container service. Then, it is confirmed that the modeling scheme is useful for analyzing characteristics of network and the scheme is also convenience for making the consortium's significant clear in the Japan/China trade.
