沖縄空手における沖縄とは何か

――実践者の帰属認識を事例として――

  This article is to report the contemporary condition of the Karate in Okinawa Pref. referring to the 2007 Shoto Budosai in Okinawa and to survey what the Okinawa in the Okinawa Karate for the practitioner is, in other words, overlapping identities of them throughout the Karate and their belongingness. The Okinawa Karate has been hardly reported in the past Okinawa study and the most of them reported the difference between Okinawa and Japan proper, however, this article reports the identities of the people in Okinawa referring the internal difference in Okinawa.
