Abstract

The title compound is a five-coordinate Na^I-bisazo complex used in imaging industries. This complex crystallizes in a triclinic system, as characterized by the crystallographic parameters: P1, a = 12.1100(8), b = 13.7781(9), c = 14.6695(9)Å, α = 63.125(3), β = 89.298(3), γ = 73.534(3)°, Z = 2, V = 2074.5(2)ų. The structure was solved by direct methods and refined by full-matrix least-squares on F² to final values of R1 = 0.1494 and wR2 = 0.4105.
