The structure of a dinuclear copper(I) complex, [Cu2I2(dma-acd)2] (dma-acd = 3,6-bis(dimethylamino)acridine), was determine by X-ray crystallography. The compound crystallizes in a monoclinic system and was characterized thus: P21/n, a = 9.1930(5), b = 15.2507(7), c = 11.8959(5)Å, β = 95.749(5)°, Z = 4, V = 1659.41(14)Å3. The crystal structure was solved by direct methods and refined by full-matrix least-squares on F2 to final values of R1 = 0.0279 [I > 2σ(I)] and wR2 = 0.0719 (all data).
