Some Condensing Agents for Synthesis of N¹-Acyl-4-acet-aminonaphthalenesulfonamide-1

Abstract

N¹-Acylation of 4-acetaminonaphthalene-1-sulfonamide using condensation agents other than pyridine, such as trimethylamine, quinoline, or dimethylaniline, with acetone and sodium hydrogen carbonate, was compared with that of the pyridine method and a few new observations were made.
