Learning spaces today are a set of opportunities within open geography,
with learning mobility referring to learners moving among these spaces. The School on the Internet Asia (SOI Asia), an inter-university network spanning Southeast Asia and Japan, serves as a network of such spaces, encouraging learners to acquire knowledge, skills, and mindsets beyond formal education. This research introduces a community-based support scheme, Inxignia, to promote learners' ownership, improve a sense of community, and enhance community members' engagement in supporting learners' learning pathways within this network. Inxignia focuses on three activities: Engaging with Communities of Practice, reflecting on experiences and envisioning future pathways, and coordinating with community members to codesign subsequent learning pathways. A micro-credentialing e-portfolio platform supports these activities. Conducted as action research, the researchers implemented two action cycles, assessing outcomes via surveys, interviews, and observations. Results indicated that the scheme had the expected outcome.
