In this study, we investigated the effects of co-educational physical education classes at technical colleges on
students' skill acquisition, using badminton as an example. Specifically, we conducted a skills test related to badminton and observed changes in skills before and after the unit. We also had students evaluate each other's achievements and challenges obtained through badminton classes, and analyzed their skill acquisition status. These studies have shown that when holding co-educational physical education classes, pairing students at different times or creating mixed groups promotes mutual learning between boys and girls, leading to improved skills. Furthermore, in co-educational training, it has become clear that differences in physique, physical strength, technique, experience, etc. are not lumped together, but are viewed as individualities, and skills can be acquired efficiently.
