Deterioration diagnosis results for Shizuoka General Hospital in 2020 pointed out that the deterioration of large facilities and equipment in the main building （approximately 40 years old） was significant. On the other hand, with regard to these equipment maintenance management for the entire hospital facility, many outsourced tasks have made the procedures complicated and concerns on the deterioration of the medical environment and patient services have been occurred. Therefore, we started the "Management-integrated ESCO project" since 2022, management of the hospital by selecting energy-saving equipment that takes advantage of characteristics and efficient facility management has been optimized. Prior to the implementation of the project, I myself provided with the above series of advices as a certified professional engineer and the business effect for one year was a reduction of approximately 70 million yen, contributing to improving the management of the public hospital.
