Rapid responses to frequent, severe natural disasters are vital for prevention and recovery. This report highlights challenges in damage assessment and initial responses, focusing on "location," "people," and "information." It suggests using remote sensing( satellite SAR, UAVs) and GIS. Satellite SAR detects surface changes, UAVs perform detailed risk-free surveys, and GIS integrates data, improving response speed and accuracy. On the other hand, although each technology still has remaining challenges, they can be addressed through future technological developments, and their versatility is expected to expand.
