In Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting (DTTB), delay profile is measured from Scattered Pilot signals. But, direct current component remains behind in delay profile by attered Pilot signals including desired wave component. Therefore it is difficult to measure an existing multi-path component near a desired wave. This paper propose the method to reduce the direct current component from Delay profile. Delay profile calculated by Proposed Method can measure an existing multi-path near a desired wave.

We have developed a novel compensation method of fast fading for ATSC Digital Television System. This paper describes the channel estimation technique by using known sequences and tentative decisions. By computer simulation, we show that our proposed method can improve performance in fast fading environments compared to the conventional method.

Directional intra prediction currently used in H.264/AVC and H.265/HEVC is unsuitable for curved textures because predicted values are always extrapolated along straight lines in a given direction. In this paper, we propose a new prediction technique which enables interpolative prediction along circular curves defined by two kinds of parameters.

We previously proposed a block-based adaptive prediction method for efficient coding of color video signals in RGB 4:4:4 format. The method exploits temporal, spatial and inter-color correlations of color video signals simultaneously. In this paper, we extend the temporal prediction to use multiple reference frames in a similar way to the variable block size bi-prediction.
