The automation of ships has been treated as the subject of the system engineering by the government authorities concerned, owners and dockyards. Thers is considerable significance in its point. On the contrary equipment makers take the position to make it realize more efficiently, and there is little difference in control technique. Then, as an equipment maker, we try to explain some advice about the automation of ships of ships from the point of view of control engineering.
