In this paper, we have established the four indicators of " interactivity " , " cooperativity " ,
" practicality " and " self-study " necessary for quantitative evaluation of proactive learning. In addition, we propose a classification method assigned to each item of ATT(Action・Thinking・Teamwork) based on the ability that companies want students to have. By using this method, it can be using that teachers who newly introduce AL will be able to support new cases by using case method.
The present study investigated effects and gender differences of age at first ICT device use and using ICT in school and out of school on ICT motivation (interest and competence, autonomy, and relat-edness) by using PISA 2018 dataset ( N = 6109 ). The results were as follows: (a) Earlier ICT use and ICT usage for leisure activities were positively correlated with ICT motivation. Especially, ICT usage for leisure activities was found to relate strongly to ICT motivation. (b) Use of ICT for learning out of school was positively correlated with relatedness. (c) A significant gender difference was found in using ICT in school and out of school and ICT motivation.
This study explores the motivation and process for high school students to meet new potential friends online, giving specific consideration to gender differences. Free description questionnaire data collected from 1129 students from 6 high schools were analyzed using KH Coder. The results demonstrate that students of both genders met potential new friends with common hobbies. However, while male students meet new potential friends widely through games, female students used Internet service to meet new potential friends from the same school. Previous studies have explored the motivations of female participants. This study re-considers the extent to which these motivations and processes are female-specific. As a practical suggestion, it points up the need to additionally consider Internet interactions as a means to complement existing human relationships or to strengthen ‘extended network’ links into potential friendships.
