Description- and selection-type questionnaires were administered to survey preferences regarding music therapy. The subjects were psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, and pharmacists. The results indicated that staff members attitudes toward music therapy were differed from one another, suggesting that the proper application of music therapy is an important consideration in assessing the effectiveness of music therapy.
