“ATBSS (AIRS Test Battery of Singing Skills)” was developed by an international collaborative research team “AIRS (Advancing Interdisciplinary Research in Singing)” as an index for comprehensively measuring the various basic and applied skills related to singing. The present study focused on 12 out of 15 dimensions of ATBSS Child Revised Edition. 90 children were examined to evaluate their performance through the scores they secured from a total 20 points in each dimension. Results obtained through multiple regression analysis revealed a significant contribution of the scale showing smaller standard deviation residuals in measuring childrenʼs performance through ATBSS Child Revised Edition. Moreover, the high internal consistency obtained through results reflected the reliability and validity of the scale. In addition, to identify the latent factors between the dimensions through exploratory factor analysis, four factors with high internal consistency were extracted having relatively high inter-factor correlations.
