In this study, the authors have developed, practiced, and evaluated an entrepreneurship education program designed to foster innovative mindsets and skillsets for designing business models and creating value, referring to the affinity between design thinking methodology and knowledge creation theory. The education management in this program is designed to enhance knowledge creation. Students foster their own entrepreneurship as the axis of their own innovation design, work on team projects with diverse members to learn design thinking as the basic methodology to create innovation, acquire basic knowledge and skills closely related to entrepreneurs, and then work on design thinking projects which integrate all of the above; mindsets, design thinking methodology, skillsets, and related knowledge. The educational effect of this program is evaluated quantitatively with changes in students’ scores of Innovation Human Resources Test (METI). Results indicate that students progressed in both creative thinking and execution phases.
